Sorry to hear through your article that the bird, Swinhoe's Pheasant, was mistreated in Japan. I'm also surprised to know the exceptional case that the wildlife was not respected in Japan. I don't know if you ever tried to inform them the preciousness of the bird while you saw it there. I share your sentiment that this bird may die due to its mistreatment and loneliness. Hopefully, that's not the case. And, hopefully, there is an improvement for the previous bird. Anyway, please take good care.
